I have a couple of friends in Las Cruces, NM and this view of the strikingly beautiful Organ Mountains was remembered from an evening spent on the patio of their home. Beer was involved. I included the village because I imagined that, in a just world, something like that place ought to suddenly appear out of the desert dust every once in a while, like Brigadoon in the musical.
