The Dangerous Morning

“Red sky in morning, sailor take warning.” So goes the old adage and there is truth in it as this weather at sea generally portends a developing storm.  In the mountains, it can mean fire. My picture is more metaphorical. Sometimes in spite of our best efforts, positive thinking and lots of prayer, we roll out of bed at 7AM and there’s catastrophe, looming just outside the window. It’s then we know to get dressed, hold fast to all those we love and just hang on. The next day, or the one after have got to be better.
